TEACHER TIPS

Here are a few teacher tips to help your Minute To Win It Game Day run as smoothly as possible.

📌This list is meant to give you plenty of Minute to Win it PE Games and challenges to choose from. You definitely will not have time to do all 20 during a 50-60 minute PE class. From past experience 6-8 challenges in one class period is the sweet spot.

📌Most games can be tweaked to meet the needs of all K-12 students, however, some challenges are definitely more user-friendly due to age/skill levels, etc. for certain grade levels.

📌K-12 GAMES PERFECT FOR ALL GRADES – No Tweaking Needed: STACK ATTACK, GO FISH RELAY, SNOWBALL SHOWDOWN, GRANNY PANTS RELAY, BALLOON BOP, FLIP CHALLENGE, HULA HOOP SHOWDOWN, FROZEN STATUES, LINE JUMP HOP, TEACHER SKETCH

📌If you teach in a school where your students change their shoes before heading back to their general education classroom, make sure you do the SHOE TOWER challenge LAST. That will save you some transition time.

📌Don’t skip the “TEACHER SKETCH” challenge. It is seriously so fun. AND, it is also fun to create a PE Bulletin Board displaying the sketches. The kids will LOVE it and the rest of the staff will think it’s pretty funny too.
